I have a 90 double cab 4x4 rodeo that i use every day on a coastal dairy farm which means wet as a shag in spring and lots of rocks and the runoff is more interesting not long after we bought it this happened it was lower than my mates 95 2wd.not knowing anything about ifs i lived with it and then put bull bars on that made it worse then discovered how to lift when looking at cv boot changes on 4x4wire.com (couple of good articles here) Tip- let your suspension right down when you take that ball joint out it takes 5 minutes and saves alot of time and effort especially if your jack under the lower arm flips out. Front is now wound up so that it just sits lightly on the bumpstops. Amazed how the back came up with it. also surprised no wheel alighnment needed. however i only have 10inches clearance under the transfercase and belly plate and bash plate in front has a few good dents. Being a doble cab it gets bellied easily. Next is balljoint flip (spacer?) and bumpstop shave but at what point is cv angle to severe for every day use. also instead of huge obvious shackle etensions is there any reason apart from it taking a bit more work for not doing a soa job and shortening the shackle have seen it on other sites and looks abit more subtle

SOA is very hard to get through Wofs unless its factory. They dont like it as it adds flex to the whole setup. It adds about 6 inches to the current setup which you can then reduce by removeing a leaf. You need to cut and weld the spring mounting plates on the diff. I have read an artical on this but not sure where. It might of been at www.off-road.com/isuzu

had a look underneath -today had a bit of rubbish hooked up and discovered leaf spring bushes munted -only had awarrant check through on road a couple of weeks ago. the shackles need replacing so will make some extended ones and go up to 16inch rims when tyres need replacing next

I am a hippocrite I now have obvious extended shackles made of 50 x 10 mm flat and 165mm long (150 between holes50 mm more than stock) with a brace welded between to prevent crushing and 3/4 hi tensile bolts This has lifted the back to 900mm from ground to guard with 29inch tyres. The front is screwed up to rest lightly on the bump stops and will do a ball joint flip shortly but leave at current hieght of 860 (g to g) ;D
