2.8 turbo onto 3.1, will it fit?

Anything up to 16psi wont need further mods as this is where the pressure relief valve opens.
Standard is 10psi. The turbo from the 2.8 might struggle to get much higher than this on a 3.1 but happily pulls 14 on my 2.8. Disconnecting the wastegate didn't make any difference on mine

i have the 3.1 turbo, i just rotated the housing. My wastegate has a 14psi spring but im pretty sure it not opening, it just vents to atmosphere but i cant hear it doing that.
