thats the one, undo the 13mm locknut and turn it 1/8 clockwise, then a bit more till it smokes, then back it off till no more smoke.

Thanks for your patience and replies One more question - mine doesn't seem to want to make smoke... I can turn the screw in a full turn and still no smoke at 3000rpm. Idle was getting faster as I turned it in, and kept turning waiting for the smoke - but nada. I've got a 2 1/2 inch exhaust from turbo back and k&n air, otherwise standard 2.8 MU I've settled on a half turn up from what it originally was, has a lot more pull and generally feels more powerful. Just wondering why I can't get it to smoke. Anything I should be concerned about do you think ? Cheers, Clark

Mine was adjusted when the seal were done and I dont know how much but the result is like hanging anouther 2 cylinders on the engine. If your happy with the new perfofmance then it is perfect Why worry? In my case they had initialy set the fuel to low and the resut was shocking performance esspecialy below 2500 and a lot of smoke. After they fixed it it goes like it never did and no smoke. The boost gauge now reads 6psi from about 1200 revs I cant get my head round more fuel = less smoke

Is it worth doing the boost first and then adjusting the fuel to take advantage of the extra air?I've got to find some more grunt from somewhere.Since fitting the 33 12.5s Ican't use low second any more.Just runs out of steam and dies. The 1/2 worn 32 9.5s used to spin and the revs stayed up.Of course the truck slowed down anyway. The new tyres are biting real good. Harry.

I hope so Harry because that is my plan. Finish the intercooler setup, up the boost to 14-15 PSI and then on the dyno up the fuel to max power while keeping an eye on the EGTs.
Jimmy.
