how much oil in a 2.8 turbo

gday ppls i just wanna know how much oil i should use for a complete oil change.. ? in a 2.8 turbo diesal ..? is 5ltrs correct..?

what oils are yall using in oz..?

I found out recently that there is 2 different sumps on the 2.8. My bighorn takes about 4.9 liters. A mates Mu takes 5.1. As yours is the same year as his yours is likly to be just over 5.
Try pouring in just under 5 liters then wait 10 min and check the dipstick and adjust a little at a time. Remember how much it takes for next time. Then run the engine to fill the new filter and check after its sat overnight. Remember this engine is slow for the oil to get into the sump as the push rod holes are quite small. Also do not overfill as the ecxess oil will find a way out probably through the rear seal and all over your clutch

4l in either of mine is 1/2 way between the marks on the dipstick.4.5 with a filter change.
