my gearbox recently "you know what" itself,mu auto 93 model. It had very little take off & felt as though it was trying to take off in 2nd or 3rd. The mechanic has since fixed the gearbox but the problem still remained. He replaced some switch cant remember what he said it was but said it looked pretty dodgy. There was still the same problem. He now informs me that it is most likely the computer. He believes the computer has "you know what" itself in turn causing the gearbox failure. From my understanding there is a series of pins(?) or something & some of them aren't coming together to get the solenoids working which he believes to be the the whole undoing of the problem. Is there anyone out there who can steer me in the right direction or help locate a computer for this major pain in the arse!
