Im just wondering if anyone has taken the little wind deflector things from around the window on the MU off? How do you get them of?

I think he means the monsoon shields.
I looked at it once and could not work out how to get them off without the risk of breaking them. I wanted to replace the adhesive tape that holds the back half to the body.

There should be little screw clips that clamp it to the window frame . These have tiny philips screws around the edge. Also there is double sided tape holding everything in place. Easiest way to tackle this is to cut the tape with fishing line or similar

Fishing line done the job no worries, no screws though the brackets were held on by the window seal.
