Look for the code "G80" on the manufacturers plate under the bonnet. If it is there it should be lsd. With the car out of gear and handbrake off lift one rear wheel If you can turn it easily its not lsd If it feels like a bad case of binding brakes it probably is. To be absolutly sure lift both back wheels If you turn one and the other turns the other way its an open diff If it turns the same way its lsd.

Ok so i dont have a lsd, so my next question would have to be.. which mu does have lsd and will it fit on mine without cutting any bits out. Im also thinking of sasing it but am not sure on the affects of the on road side of things.. any input would be a great help here..
Cheers again ;D

Have to look for the G80 code on the chassis plate. An LSD from any bighorn,Mu or Wizard made after 88 will fit but check your ratio. It will be 4.3 to 1 or 4.55 to 1. If you change the front diff as well you can change the ratio but both diffs have to match. SAS is a good off road mod but a huge amount of engineering work and will require cert. If you pay someone else for your welding and grinding I wouldnt bother. Most people who have done this have also done big lifts with predictable affects on the on road handleing. It wont be a family car any more
