Thanks quack - will bear that in mind. Found a useful tyre size site with chart and have started another thread. It lists actual sizes for many common makes. Worth a look.
At this point probably tending towards savero's new adventuro or might also give the nankang mudstar a try. Club guys report good offroad performance from the mudstar with its heavy open lug tread. Open road wear would be the question, but could be ok if not doing much road mileage. Both good prices and if you upsize the Nankang to the 305/15 you get a genuine 33" or v close to it.
