Yeah been real busy with work at the moment, but have got the engine in the right spot and found that the rear sump will get smashed by the diff, so I have swapped mine for a front one. Also this has been holding me up, I have just done a full rebuild on the engine and box... And two other distractions ...

Yep that's the black one, I'm going to rebuild the engine for it... so the major project will be going slow, but either way I still have a year to go before I can drive it, heaps of time to finish it...

Nice build. We spent hours pouring over muvits, yarnos and other SAS conversions prior to starting our own. Maybe one day we'll be back for another look if we ever decide to re-power. Keep the pics comming as the work progresses, this is a great record for people like us to refer to. Cool watching these MU's evolve can't wait to see finished projects doing what they've been built to do. Even if there is very little MU left. The MU body is nice and compact and wide for offroad not to mention unique.
