i got my clutch done about one and a half months ago now.
got it done by a local machanic with a new clutch kit.
funny thing is im sure its starting to slip again.
done the test by putting foot flat to the floor and stabbing the clutch under load (5th going 40kmh up hill) and it sliped and reved out to around 3g?
what could be causing this?? pretty bumed out as this cost $720 all up fitted.

Oil in clutch?
Rear end seal gone? Could be leaking... Make sure engine oil isn't over filled. Maybe a bottle of a stop leak product might help if this is the cause.

If overfilled and leaking (mine leaks a tad, it's alright though), just bring oil back to below max and use some stop leak...
I'm no mechanic so don't know if it's possible, but if the crank rear end seal has fallen out of place, then the gearbox will need to be taken off so it can be re-fitted. Clutch should still be ok though... Best to double check with a real mechanic...
Andy.

right, lowered the oil level back down and and added the stop leack, there was way to much oil in there and about double on the dipstick.
next question is were abouts is the drain bolt for the bellhousing so i can see if anythings in theres?

That sounds like the problem to me. Way too much oil causing seals to leak. Including rear end seal leaking oil into clutch..
Sorry I don't know anything about the drain plug on the bellhousing...

There is no drain plug on the bell housing but a lot of people have carefully drilled a 4mm hole directly below the clutch fork at the lowest point and then resealed it with a self tapping screw. Ive heard of one that found over 2 liters of oil in there

I had a clutch begin to slip afta new clutch job a while back and found culprit was the clutch master cylinder.
Check for seepage/oil leak up under dash where master cyl/reservoir shaft comes through firewall. If dampness there, a new master cylinder will only cost about $45 trade at places like BNT, and takes about half hour to fit and bleed.
The drain hole at bottom of bellhousing is quick to do - email JamesW on this site - he did mine- and he'll tell you exactly where to drill for best drainage. This will tell you quickly if it is rear main seal problem.
Have you steamcleaned yr truck lately - or been offroad in water or washed it underneath around clutch area lately - this can cause slipping also. If this is cause the problem will usually disappear fairly quickly.

Its quite easy Directly under the clutch fork is some strengthening ribs. Just drill nice close to the lowest point just in front of the one running across the bellhousing. Its about 6mm thick and easy to drill. I did mine with a cordless

The lever that pokes out the side of the bellhousing that the slave cylinder pushes on. Inside the bellhousing it is fork shaped hence the name

check the adjustment Take the spring off at the clutch fork and check for free play. If theres some play then your looking at a clutch plate

If the master cylinder has been out that could be wrong but I was thinking about the adjuster on the slave cylinder under the car. If the push rod is under tension once the return spring has been removed it will be stopping the clutch from engageing properly

ok have adjusted under the dash and seems to be better, but if im going up a slight hill in 4th going like 40km and push the acelerater flat to the floor and then push the clutch in and let it rev to about 3000rpm and drop it, it dosnt drop straight back down to the orignal revs and rides down a bit, and then if if try again then it starts getting worse.
is this normal, im thinking not but it does have quite a bit of torqe and the boost is turned up a bit???
