Whats your guard to ground height? My 90 rodeo was 900 at rear and 860 at front on original 29 inch tyres Front suspension has had the torsion bars screwed up untill it sat lightly on bumpstops - which were then shaved and the ball joints flipped, the rear shackles have been extended by 2 inches. Im not skiting (much anyway ;D ) but I put 31 x 10s last night and might seriously have to consider a body lift - there aint alot of clearance and that is just doing normal farmwork

A mate had one for a few years and could only get 31" on it.
His only had shackles and torsion wind up.
2" Body lift should have done it.

It is possible to get 33s on a rodeo, but it takes a bit of body trimming, or a 2" body lift, plus you will need to either find 33x10.5R tyres or go for a rim with negative offset - check out www.4wdmonthly.com.au/forum/showthread.php?t=19273I only run 31s on mine, but I know a few people who have had 235/85r16s an standard 6" rims, which are effectivly the same as as 32", with a 40mm spring lift/tosion bar wind up they have no tyre clearance issues

Hi, I have a 2000 holden rodeo with 31"x10.5" tires, I want to put bigger tires on it but I dont know how?? Can someone help me? I cant find body lift kit neither suspension kits. Thanks Nice to see you made it over Manrique - you have hours of reading ahead of you. About your question there is a lot of good advice in this thread already - but if you want to get serious about Isuzu suspension then Matt at Independant4X4 is the guy to talk to - they are at www.independent4x.com/ You can also get a hold of Matt via PlanetIsuzoo - his user name is Independent4x Re your question in one of your other posts about what height your truck is sitting at, these measurements are right for my 94 model, and should give you a starting point for your 2000 model: Front - stretch a string-line across the ends of the threads on the bottom ball-joints - ie hook it on the split pin on one side, take it over the end of the thread and then stretch it across to the ball joint on the other side - take it across the end of the threads & pull it tight and tie it off to something. Now you need to make 2 measurements with the truck sitting on its wheels on level ground - the perpendicular distance from the string line to the ground roughly in line with the lower control arm pivot point, and the perpendicular distance from the centre of the lower control arm pivot bolt to the ground. Now subtract the first measurement from the second. At standard ride height this difference should be 135mm, any less than that & it has sagged, any more and it has been cranked up. For the rear its a bit easier - measure the distance between the top of the back axle & the centre of the bump stop (easiest way to do this is with an inside caliper) - standard height is 95mm.
