just ordered my forged crankshaft from china 2pcs 4jb1,2pcs 4jb1t ,i don't know how good they are but i will soon find out (1 month),they're reasonably priced,about usd250.00 non-turbo,usd270.00.tough the freight charges will kill me!!!check out this web,http://www.web-silkroad.com/crankshaft.htm

Thanks for that link, very interesting. Lots of other engines too, some old, bedford for example.
I import a lot of stuff from china and quality can be an issue, but can be managed. However these guys seem to have done more in the respect of quality than most, ISO9002 hardness tests etc.
How comfortable were they with you making a small order?

well i had to work on it for several months,i even went to their office in shenzen,china.no luck though but fortunatly they have an agent in kuala lumpur so i went throught them,i complained to the factory that their agent do not carry any stock so eventually they gave in,the factory usually want oders over USD5000.00

I was right!I just knew a forged crankshaft would be a pirate one made in China.Do they forge money as well? Harry.
