Boost controller

Here is how i've done my boost controller, this is only my way, i'm sure there are hundreds of other ways.

First of, run a hose of the pipe on the intercooler or form that alloy thing to a tee. Use the smallest fittings you can here as you want as little flow as possible. From the tee run a hose down to the waste gate valve and the other into the cabin for a incabin controller, or just to a tap. I have used air line but you can use rubber hosing.

The tap i used is just a simple brass tap from a engineering supply shop, screw style for fine adjustment. So run the hose to one side of it and the other to a suitable place through the floor as this is the bleed off line and a bit of crap comes out of it.

Last of all plug up the hose from the outlet side of the turbo as you don't need this anymore.
And this is how i did my boost gauge, i took it off after the intercooler as the pressures are different before and after it.

I see you have top mount intercooler - hmmmmmm i don't so will need that before i adjust boost i suppose!

Not at all, just tee into the hose that comes off the alloy casting that say's 2800, or 3100, its the little black hose that goes round to the egr controllers. i had a heap of touble getting my controller to owrk agin after i fitted the intercooler, got it sorted now though .
