Hi Steve Your suspension is very sagged and ride must be very bumpy and unconfortable (specialy at the back).Have a loock at the back if rubber bump stop and axle are shiny at the spot where they are suposed to touch if yes that means they are hiting each other very ofthen . With that hight you have 32's may be ok on the road but will touch something or somewhere driving off the road in the rough.

Sounds as if the rear is a bit stuffed, mine was around 800 mm before I added 2.5" ext. shackles on it so I could fit 32 odd inch diameter wheels. Dragan is right about them rubbing off road if you don't. I eventually whipped the ext. shackles off and replaced the rear springs which took it up to 940mm. home.exetel.com.au/justshtml/html/CLUBISUZUSITE/Install_Leafspring.htmlJ

bumpy? i usually bounce around in the cabin whenever i drive thru our potholed streets here i'll try to look at that bumpstop. before i installed my extended shackles, the front was at 755 and the rear was at around 700. after the install, the truck just balanced at 755. maybe i'll have to look at new springs first before getting new shoes

Just thought about this 755 is over 100mm below standard Do springs realy sag this much or has it been lowered. I lifted mine 30mm and got 900mm front and back

Wow If your at 755mm with Ext. Shackles then your rear springs are either rooted or as Al said you've got lowering blocks on it? Are you measuring from the ground to the top of the arch? J

i dont think it has been lowered. i measure from the ground to the highest arc of the fender wheel well. i got 31x10.5xr15 bridgestone a/t tires on.
but i don't usually feel the bumpstops. might as well measure it again.

31x10.5x15 tyre is 786mm high How much gap do you have above the tyre to the gaurd? Or are the tyres always inside the gaurds?

My old Kumho 31's were smaller and gave me better mileage on the clock than my 31" MTR's now. Even with air filter change.

My Wizard measures 980mm at the rear and 965mm in the front. I still need to take the extra sag out from the new winch. Running 33"x12.5" Mongrels with 50mm suspension lift and 40mm body lift.
Roger/Draganlada - I have found the same thing with 33" tyres. They measure 32" to 34"+

I have just joined and this is my first post,
Mine is 1000 at the front and 1070 at the back, sitting on 33/12.5/15's with a 2" body lift and a spring over conversion.
And Steve, you dont need a body lift to get the 32x11.5xr15 on your truck, I had those on my truck when it was stock standard, as long as your springs are not sagged.
Cheers

I am 930 rear, 910 front. Suspension lift only on 31 inchers I do have after market flares that are probably dropping my arch down 5-10mm

Im thinkin doin a 3'' lift & 2'' or 3'' suspension lift very soon. Anyone might know where in SYDNEY I can do this at a cheap price? I know this one place at Silverwater they will do it for me for $2800 all up.... Is there anywhere else I can do this cheaper then that price?

You can do the suspension lift yourself for $600 and a days work. The body lift I have never done but I know people who have and it looks to me you'd have around $2000 of labour on that quote, cause the bits are no where near that. J

Front is 910, Rear is 930. I am running MT'Rs 31X15 R10.5. I have a 2" body lift on the bench which will go on when these tyres are due, then we will go to 33" Coopers.

Sorry to dig an old thread.
LF : 875mm RF : 874mm LR : 865mm RR : 845mm (!)
Stock suspension with 31" tyres.
Sounds like I would benefit from new rear leaf springs too, especially on the RR.

You really do need new springs!!!
Idealy you want the back at least 10mm higher than the front for a nice ride so i have been told, Haven't measured mine lately but i think i'm in the 950's somewhere
