Hay hi all
Just a quick one I am thinking of an engine conversion to a diesel V6 or a patrol V6 or V8.
I no or one V8 conversion so I no it can be dune, as I use my MU manly road runs I don’t do a lot of 4X4ing so im looking for a bit more pace and drive ability , I love the car but I would like a bit more poke when over taking trucks so im just wondering if eney one out there has dune some thing ells or is thinking of doing the same.
The engines im thinking of are
3L V6 twin turbo Diesel
OR
V6 Petrol eg:- Holden commodore v6 VN to VY
Nissan VG30E/VG30ET ,VG30DE/VG30DETT
OR
V8 Petrol eg:- LSI GEN 1,2,3
I no the hasel of transplanting a petrol engine into the MU, cost , fuel system & delivery , ECU,s , mounting & gear ratios, but its just in the thinking stage at the moment and I want to see peoples thorts on this and what you guys have to say about it.
