boost spike

just wondering if other people have problems with boost spike, i added a racepro boost tap a while a go but no matter what it will spike to around 15psi and then drop back down to were i set it.

is there anything i can do to reduce this? also how water proof are these taps? i.e rivercrossings

Mine spikes to 17 before settling on 16.

I had a faulty boost controller and had a 3-4 psi spike before fixing it.

As there is only positive pressure coming out of them I would not expect there to be any issues with water crossings.
