Go to 14 Thats what mine will pull under load and has done since the boost gauge went in 3 years ago. With the waste gate pipe removed and plugged it shows 17 but this is where the over pressure valve in the inlet manifold opens. You might need a 2.5 inch exhaust and freeflow air cleaner ie unifilter or KN to get there.

16PSI with standard turbo. That is the most it will push to redline.
It will get up to 25PSI through most of the rev range but dies off up high.
I removed the over boost valve but I did not seem to be working anyway.
With an intercooler 16 is fairly conservative. It is mainly the fuel levels that will make the engine run hot anyway.

wow thats a bit jimmu, what other mods you got to help maintaine that i.e exhust, filter?? how many kms and is it the orginal turbo?
when you incressed it did the boost spoll up quicker? and does it make power all the way to redline or just holds boost to there?
do you have an idea of hp and nm?
i assuming that incressing the boost wont do much on its own and i would have to turn up the fuel incress screw thing to get the most out of it?

hmm, put the boost tap in lastnite, it only seems to run standard boost in 1st(9psi) and then all other gears goes up to 13psi, havnt do the fuel wind up yet but will get onto asap.
what a difference its made just now with a bit more boost:)

You will get the same boost in first if you supply a big enough hill to load the engine.

I have basically done everything bolt on that can be done without upgrading turbo and fuel pump. Ie a Custom DumpPipe, 2.5" Mandrel bent exhaust, aftermarket air filter, Snorkle, Removed EGR's and added an Intercooler.
It makes power all the way to redline. I could get a bit more if I wanted to run higher EGTs but I have kept mine nice and cool. It is the torque that is impressive the thing pulls so hard now from 2000rpm you can easily change up at 2500 and feel like you are driving it quick.
There is a dyno sheet on the forums somewhere of what it went like after the dyno tune. 100Hp and 880 lb-ft in 4th gear. But you need to keep in mind that no two dynos are the same and it is fairly easy to get a high dyno readout if you want to make it look better than what it is. I could make mine show 130 at the wheels if I just moved the intake temp compensator to a different spot. So take dyno readouts with a grain of salt.
More boost will only make a difference if you have the fuel to burn. If it is running rich to begin with then more boost will make more power. If it is lean then it wont.
It would not be difficult to get 25psi across the rev range with a slightly bigger turbo but there would be little point unless you upgraded the fuel pump to put out enough fuel to match.
