hi i need to do mine as well as mine is passed the pregnant dog stage. lol sick of changin the thick piece of cardboard under the mu to catch the oil dripping. now i've noticed the rear seal is leaking too but first i want to finish the SAS so as to see first if the 2.8 will turn 4 wheels simultaneously before i waste my time fixing it. otherwise i'll be doing a transplant as well. i'm not a 100% sure but i think the timing case cover has to be removed to get at it as well doesn't it? good luck. cheers muvit

I'll repeat myself. If you have a later model 4JG2 do not, DO NOT, DO NOT use the facory Isuzu two part oil seal at the front or the back. Unless you have the proper tool to insert them to the correct position they will leak! Not might, will! I've just had to put new front and rear seals in my rebuilt engine! I was so pi@#$%ed off I actually paid someone to do it. About 3.5hrs labour for the front and 7 hours for the back.
