hey this is my first post i just brought an 90 MU 2.8DT manual. i love it! its also my first 4x4 and my first deseil. after read though this site i have incressed the fuel pressure screw. noticed a good incress in power but now its smoking a little black, im also tomoro adding a boost tap, and plan on incressing the boost from 9 to 11psi. im gathing that adding the extra air to the motor from the boost incress it will cancel out the extra fuel going though the motor corsing the back smoke? or will i have to turn it back? am i right or am i miss understanding something? thanks for any help!

based on the information gather from my fuel pump tuner friends, what happens when you increase the fuel by turning the screw driver is more fuel is added and that causes fuel pressure in the fuel pump to drop, the fuel pump uses internal fuel presssure to advance the timing of the fuel pump and thus with more fuel internal pressure drop hence less advance timing,so to counter this problem you need to play around the timing by moving the fuel pump either left or right,WARNING THIS IS INFO I GOT FROM LOCAL TUNER WHO SERVICES FUEL PUMPS SO PLEASE DOUBLE CHECK THE INFO I HAVE GIVEN!!!
