For those who know me, you will know how my mechanical skills are so great and god like hence why I only ever do stuff for the website etc..... well I surprized my self with this project I did (after witchdoctor already showed me once how to pull everything off ...lol) I went and bought my self a proper socket set today...and threw my Supercheap set away (the rachet always falls apart when using it) and I had a go. If anyone can see any possible problems with my setup please let me know...I'm am always open to constructive critism. I was a bit concered about using rubber pipe for the bend...but could not find anything else that would fit. The front Left corner (looking at it) does press on the rubber Bend. Issue? I got the other part of the pipe made up for me. The Tubing from the air filter to the turbo I romoved and replaced it with the ones of the '92'Jackaroo which the intercooler came off I have not put the scoop on yet.....but you will see in the pic that its already marked out for me... ;D

Looks like a great job to me Francesco. Did you turn the turbo to get the outlet pointing the right way?

Nope...on the 3.1 the turbo cannot be rotated...hence having to use the bend. There was no way aroound it, the space I had was so small.

Cool. Couldn't tell from the pic if you used a bent hose or not. What's the cooler off?

As long as that bend in the rubber hose isn't reducing the cross sectional area too far then it won't have much impact. But if it is too tight then it would reduce air flow and make the turbo less productive.
I think it's a judgement call that you can make based on spool up time and performance. Do you have a boost gauge to see when the engine starts making boost?
Cheers, G.

Looks nice and tidy. As long as the rubber pipe is secure at both ends it will be fine. Tyres hold twice that pressure Radiator hoses hold the same pressure
