Folks..... I'm new to this site ....g'day all. 99 TD SE Jackaroo - 103k on the clock. Want to fit new shocks for upcomong bush travel (will keep the originals as spares). Have put the XGS twin tune gas on the back - fine - chose twin tubes for stone protection - not an issue up front. Can't work out what to do with the front though - want to use mono tube gas for improved cooling but I'm worried about a harsh ride that can't be adjusted out. Particularly interested in any experiences with the MONO tube gas products (Bilsteins - Koni et al). Any popular off-road twin tube gas will be ok in general - I just thought I'd try a bit harder re mono gas, as long as I can forsee the ride hardness). Cheers.

if you dont do a lot of high speed rough work heat is unlikely to be an issue. Personaly I would use the same breed of shock front and back As they will match better
