Dont think its too much of a major. Dont do the belt without replacing the seal if its leaking. Oil kills belts very quickly

Milion dollar question. How old is your belt now?how long has oil been getting on it if it is? How hot has the belt got durring its life? The true life of a belt is 100000km or 6 years which ever comes first but most people are doing them around 100000 and 10 years and get away with it. Anouther month might not hurt but noone here will tell you you can afford to leave it. Theres too many variables to answer this properly. If it was already a new belt maybe ok but anything else is a gamble

Yup it sure is one of those questions and cause its a second hand motor and has been doing it since I got the motor I cant answer most of those questions
Sadly I dont have the time between now and the end of the month to finish getting the skid car ready for taupo and finish tidying up the truck..... guess Ill just drive it as little as I can and cross my fingers and hope

I would of done the belts and any dodgy seal esspec the rear seal before installing the engine. Much easier on the bench
