OK, So after a small incident my fan got a massive jolt at high speed and stopped working with a small grind on the radiator.... Plus i have been having some issue with cooling esp once i put on the Lightforce 240's so i ended up getting 2 x 12" thermo fans to stick on and also threw in a thermo actuator. I did install the thermo's so they are actuated when the AC is on as the condenser gets a little too hot. here are the pics. This is how it started, just the single 16" fan Here is the little grind, only just touched the core. but not real damage. Once both of the 12" thermo's are in. with 8 bolts through the radiator. The back with washers And once installed.

do you have your voltage at 12v (should be around 13-14v on gauge)during max voltage use?(at night with lights on,a/c,stereo etc.)if yes then it won't be long before you fry your alternator,i had to change mine to a big horn aternator doing about 80amp to have suffient current.nice radiator.

yeah seems it never under 13-14v with my lights (including my lightforce 240's) dual battery and fridge (which always runs) plus i use lots of other things like compressors etc.
each thermo draws about 9amps each (which is good for 12")
oh and its the 3.1TD with the 120amp alternator which i have had rebuilt due to water and mud... oooppsss...
