Hi there, whats the differerts from a stock air filter and K&N one does any one have pics of a K&N air filter?? In a 2.8 T D.

K&N looks like a standard filter although it is slightly smaller in outside diameter. 2 reasons to change K&N is a high flow filter and its cleanable where the std filter isnt. one reason not to change is cost although over several years this recoups itself. There are other ways ie unifilter which is a foam filter or a pod although the cheap pods have been known to break. If you drive off road a pod needs to be installed inside the airbox for water protection

Not an engineer Just had my Isuzu far too long (11 years) No idea on prices as Im more a fan of the foam type cleaners. Repco used to have the best prices in NZ on the KN
