finally got the charge cooler core for replacing top mount intercoolers,some pics. more pics with the water side of the end tank welded this core is almost the same size as the stock intercooler mounted on the isuzus,only need is to get a rodeo to the shop and make endtanks to fit it.i think this kit will be a breeze to install,(best thing is its not expensive)

i know!i know! its a land cruiser 80 series,but its just to show a system with the A/C acting as an editional cooling medium,(get really cold)middle of the pic is the charge cooler,right of the pic is the water resevoir with the A/C cooling coil submerged.bottom left in yellow is a modified bulge pump for circulating the water.

Hello superturbocompound ,
I was thinking to do about same thing on my Isuzu , only with the factory intercooler , weld it up to make it a water to air intercooler , and then put a small radiator in front . Would this be better then the standard air to air ic ?

i did that,with a big horn i/c ,it too big,alot of fab work,i'll take a pic of it when i find it somewhere in the workshop.its better to use a proper core.having tested the LC,this set up works really well,maybe even better the a FMIC.
