Mudlark would have the most documentation on what can be achieved without sacrifiseing durability. In standard form they are quite a good motor as long as the turbo/wastegate is working properly. Some were adjusted to give only 5 pound boost but they can safly run 14 or more. Just increasing boost may not increase power but a small tweak of the mixture screw and maybe fiddling with the spring in the presure compenator will supply the fuel needed to go with the extra air. Advancing the injection timeing very slightly will give the fuel more time to burn also giveing more power. There are a few minuses to this and realy it should be all done by someone that knows what they are doing. More fuel will cause the oil to get dirty quicker you might need to change it more often Adjusting the mixture should be done a little at a time If it starts to smoke youve gone too far Advancing the timing will cause the engine to run hotter and there is a risk of turbo damage. It only needs a tiny adjustment Not enough to cause diesel knock. I think mudlark went from 107hp to just over 150hp On mine Ive only had the mixture adjusted but the timing It went from ok to a tyre shredder if not treated with respect. I dont know the hp figures
