Finaly e got my Pyrometer from Autometer !!! Now i have to know witch temperature is the "best" for my intercooled 4JG2T ? Has anybody some expirience with wxhaust temp and setting the fuel amount ? Where i have to ask to get some info about the best setup with the optimum of power ? thx TOM

Nah not personally I dont have aPyro, but is you search the archive there was a link to a SA article that outlines all the running temps and destructive temps etc.
I think the Pyro doesnt do alot for tuning, its more for a right foot guide! If you are climbing a hill in fifth flat to the floor humming along and the Pyro starts climbing past the destructive temps.....then its time to back off and drop a gear and save your engine!
Its really the true way to monitor engine loads.

Matt. ps did it come with fitting instructions? I believe the pyro probe location (dist from turbo) is paramount in obtaining correct pryo tempo readings!
