Fits nicely but looks small. It looks like a more efficiant design but what size are the inlet and outlet pipes?

I think the factory one off the bighorn is probably better as it has the rubber seal as well to promote better airflow.
Plus a thermo fits neatly under it, plus the bonnet is probably going to ram more air into the intercooler if its fitted dead square to the front of the car...
Other then that, the only positive I can think of for this setup is the cost (if its cheaper/easier to find then the bighorn one) and that it may suffer less heat soak in that position then mounted on the top of the motor.
Thanks for the posting the pics though, much appreciated to see other ideas.
Is this your car, or one you found on the net?
Any more details ?

Ive finaly figured out whats wrong with the above pic. Yours is left hand drive We have a brake booster sitting where the intercooler is and a gap on the other side. Nice installation though. To do this on a right hand drive It would have to be fitted where your brake booster is Then by removeing the EGR and welding a new inlet on the manifold on the outside and sealing the old inlet then running the outlet from the turbo where the EGR pipe was it should work

No, its`not mine. I just found it googling 2 or 3 days ago. Oh yeah forgot to say is for LHD, sorry me. As Adam said before, this is a good solution to suit a top mount core since is less exposed to the heat of the engine and is easier to find items like this one, i guess so, at least over here there are many of them. Alan your layout sounds very logic for RHD Fourbys... Hows that mighty 4EFE going ? cheers.
