Hi all,
I need a new air filter but can't find one. I've been told that the correct item is a Phoenix, part # PA792.
Does anyone know a different manufacturer for the air filter, and their part #?
I know there were some part #s on the old site, but I can't find any here. I figure we may as well use this thread to record all #s that are relevant to our Isuzus.
Here's a start for the 4JG2 3.1 TD engine:
Oil Filter - Ryco # Z402
Fuel Filter - Ryco # Z304
Air Filter - Phoenix # PA792
Timing Belt - Gates # T966
T Belt - Isuzu # 8-94380-679-O A446M32M/M
Any help on an air filter # or where to get a Phoenix in Sydney will be appreciated.

I first replaced mine from Repco, just asked for a filter for a Jackaroo 94 3.1TD. I later went for the UNIfilter which cost about $60, and never looked back. J

Just ordered a True Flow air filter from the US. Should arrive this week do not have complete costings as yet. Just hope the filter i picked will fit, very close by measurements. Part # 10200. Air filters - Finer Filter is no more, been taken over by Unifilter.

Last week I replaced the belts and these fitted purfectly.
Alternator, Water pump belt X1 - Dayco, Top cog gold 22400 15A1015 ($22.50)
Power Steer, Air Con X2 - Bando A59 ($20.90 each)

Isn't T966 t-belt for 2.8.
3.1 4JG2-T uses T-844

Dont we wish life was this simple 2 weeks ago Richard did a timing belt in both his 92 Mu and my 89 bighorn Both 4jb1 engines His parts man couldnt tell him which belt out of these 2 it should be I cant read the part nos on the old belts but his had the round tooth mine the square I have heard similar stories regarding the 4jg2 engine
The box for my sqare tooth is a QH QTB337 which is suposed to be equivelent to a MTB247

I have had both T966 & T844 in a 4JB1T and had no problems. I now have a T844 in my 4JG2, bottom line is if a square or round tooth one comes out I'd put the same type in. J
