Just want to share my latest project. Replacing both my engine supports (on a '93 MU, 4JB1T, 199k on odometer). What prompted me to replace these was the engine shook and vibrated considerably right after i killed the engine. It sounded like BAGABAG!! After removing the mounts (the top mounted m14 nuts at the back of the outer most m14 was a pain to remove!), I noticed they were still in good shape. No torn or cracked parts on its thick hard rubber. However when compared to the new mounts, there was a difference of about 10mm in height. The old ones had already collapsed and compressed. After installation, I would say the reduction of shake after engine kill was about 40%. And the engine vibration while on idling about reduced by about 15%. Total cost, A$41.00 (these are not Isuzu factory original but OEM japan made replacements)
