Hey guys, I recently replaced the engine in my '91 MU after i bent a conrod taking it swimming (oops ). I thought i'd share some pics of it with you here... It took 3 days in total, though we probably could have finished it in 2. I put a new clutch on it, got one for a Jackaroo and it was a perfect fit. I got the new engine from an auto transmission, where as mine is manual. The 2 bottom bolts on the bellhousing are different in the manual, so my MU is currently down 2 bellhousing bolts while i come up with a solution, other than that the changeover went fairly smoothly.. members.optusnet.com.au/koowah/change2.jpg [/img] The hole left in the engine bay... members.optusnet.com.au/koowah/change3.jpg[/img] lining up the new engine members.optusnet.com.au/koowah/change4.jpg [/img] the new engine in, now we just have to connect everything back up
