Hi there,
I have an 87 Bighorn 2.23 Diesel Turbo (C223T) that is a bit of a rattly old beast at the moment. Mostly tappet noise. I had a look at adjusting them the other day but couldn't find any timing marks on the crank pulley. Has anyone adjusted their tappets and found timing marks on the pulley?
Also she puffs a bit of blue smoke after idling or sitting for a while suggesting that the valve stems/guides/seals or whatever are worn. Has anyone had any experience with these?
Cheers, Nigel Broad
