Check Engine Light

Hi everyone!I have just bought a 95 Bighorn 3.1D intercooled and loving it!! ;D However now the check engine light is coming on ! It doesn't stay on all the time and theres no pattern of when it comes on eg;open road driving ,town driving,high/low revs,idling etc.It seems to be running great although I havn't had it very long so I couldn't really compare.It has been put on a diagnostic computer and they couldn't figure out whats wrong with it !Has anyone got any ideas or experienced this problem?Your help would be greatly appreciated!!Cheers.

Have you checked the oil level and other fluids?

Hi Graham,yes I have checked all fluid levels and I presume the garage has double checked them also.I was wondering what a tps sensor is and does my model Bighorn have one as I have read in the forums that it is a common problem.Cheers.

What do the guages say at the same time? If temp and oil pressure are normal when it does it its probably nothing to worry about but who can be sure. The trottle position sensor is part of the diesle pump but not sure how to adjust This would also affect the shifting on the auto.
