I have this manual and it's heaven sent for DIY'S. Same as what's being used in Isuzu Workshops. One issue, transmission covered is 4L30E (U.S tranny) and not the AW30 which is often installed with 4JG2 engines ;D

Hey garyq does it have the valve/tappet clearance settings for the 4JG2 3.1L engine?

go to www.gmail.com login as isuzunz password 4jb1turbo download the 11 rar files that start ubs into a directory on your pc then open the first one using izark or similar It will reveal a pdf version of the manual with everything you could ever want to know about the bighorn with the 4jg1 , 4jx1 , and the v6 |

Hi Geeves,does this manual cover the 4jg2 as well ?
Logged in to d/l it then re-read this here and it didnt say the 4jg2 motor.so have cancelled the d/l till i know if it covers my motor or not

Yes 4jg2 is covered but its the 97/98 modle so might not cover mechanical fuel pump

geeves,i have a 93 bighorn auto.So will this manual help me at all ?
As i dont know anything about the 97/98 models .

Apart from the diesel pump there the same beast The older pump might be covered but not sure If not its the same as the one described in the 4jb1 manual thats also there.

HI! I logged on to gmail as you described Alan but for some reason when I download the files it will finish the download about halfway through the file and of course be "corrupted" because it's incomplete even though the download said it was complete! I tried to forward the files to my emailaddress but my xtra.co.nz email inbox will only accept 10 Mb and even though the files are smaller I was informed by xtra that the email headers put it to over the 10Mb limit! Is there any way you might be able to make the files smaller? Or even better could I send you a blank cdrom with a postage paid return envelope and you could copy the cdrom for me ;D
