Went to a local JDM surplus dismantler today and was able to buy a 4JB1-T injection pump. My pump already has a defective boost compensator diaphragm, erratic TPS, diesel gustler so I thought it was about time to replace it. And to top it all, the I.P. I got was a bargain ($Aus 220). It looked in fairly good condition and they dismantled it from the engine while I was there. Only thing I noticed (when I already bought it), it must have used a manual transmission since the throttle linkage didnt have a hookup for my autotmatic trans kickdown cable. I figure and hope I can swap their linkages. Anyway, got some photos and hope you guys could help me identify some of the injection pump parts. 1. Fuel return cutoff switch (outlet) 2. Fuel cutoff magnetic switch (inlet) 3. Tachometer pickup sensor 4. Micro Switch for what?? a friend said this is for the rev limiter?? 5. Fuel Delivery screw (underneith the tin cap) --Screw in for (clockwise in 1/8 turn increments) for richer mixture --Unscrew out (counterclockwise) for a leaner mixture What is this microswitch for?? Thanks in advance! Also got these timing belt tensioners and idler bearing (from the same dismantled engine for only $aus20). they sounded and spun smoothly so I also got them

No 2 is fuel cutoff switch.I know because if it fails the motor won't go.As for the rest I'm not sure so hopefully someone can enlighten me as well. Regards,Harry.

No 5. Underneath the cap is the fuel flow adjust, screw in for more fuel, but only say 1/8th to 1/4 turn at a time. Black smoke under load is to much

No 4 is throttle position activated.Switch is closed at idle so could be egr related. No 1 is another fuel solenoid, maybe to keep pump full when motor is off. It's at the end of the return pipes from pump and injectors. Harry.
