I am having the injectors replaced on my 95 3.1. Apparently they were buggered. The injectors have a main jet in the center and a second small jet beside it. (Unlike the 2.8 which only has one) It looks like the small side jet should be directed at the glow plug to aid cold starting but this is not known for sure. When I went to pick it up on Friday the desiel mechanic was trying to work out why it was blowing white smoke and lots of it. He assures me that the white smoke is related to in-complete burn and injector setup angles. Its still there. Does anyone know the injector setup angles for the 3.1? I was hoping it was in a workshop manual or someone has personnal experience in this area. Thanks! Pete

Hiya, there's a wee triangle cast on the head and a wee dot (I think; could be another triangle) on the injectors to align the small squirter - you're quite right - at the glow plug. Enjoy!
