Does anyone have a parts breakdown with diagrams for the Isuzu 4JB1-T engine, I am trying to work out a couple of things on mine.

1. Is what the butterfly set up that is vacume driven between the Exhaust manifold and front pipe flange.

I have tried to get a photo of it but it's well tucked away.

2. Whats what on the EGR system as I would like to get rid of the excess.

1989 LWB Isuzu Bighorn UBS55, 4JB1T with Intercooler, Ball Joint flip, Torsion bar wind, 1/2 a snorkel (internal mods done so far)

The butterfly if part of the fast warm up system. It only works when the switch is operated on the dash and the temp is below 3C. A lot of people have removed it. You know if you have ever used it.
EGR remove the 2 valves on the inlet manifold and seal the 2 holes in the manifold. Seal the exhaust pipe that feeds them and all is good unless they change the emission laws on us. It will smoke less have more power and be more ecconomical but NOS emmissions will be up. NOS is a major part of CHCH smog
