Mu milestones

Could someone please post the dates (or point me to where I can find them) when significant changes to the design of Mu's were made facelifts etc. I believe that the 3.0 litre engine was introduced in June 1998? Having read more of the posts on here now I think my best bet would be to buy a late model 3.1 litre Mu and spend the money I will save on such things as new shocks, good tyres etc.

From what Ive seen on Wizards and Bighorns there is a big price differance between the 97 and 98 models with the new engine. More than enough to buy all the goodies
