Just some quick advice required - does anybody have any recommendations or advice regarding oil and fuel filters suitable for a 3.1 4JG2 MU (i.e. brand/type/stockist/fitting). Also, as I live in Chch I would be keen to catch up with any owners of similar vehicles who dont mind imparting wisdom.
Cheers

Someone with a 4jg2 will no doubt advise you re oil/fuel filter specs. Re Clubisuzu activities, Cantab owners meet and go on a trip from time to time. We met one evening a couple of weeks ago, had a good yarn and looked at truck setup questions. Another evening possible in a month or so.
Best to email JamesW, local coordinator - see links on home page - and let him know you are keen to be involved. Great way to learn about your vehicle.

on the main club isuzu page www.clubisuzu.com open the workshop tab then click on part numbers. All your filters are listed here. One minor caution though some people have had problems with Ryco filters comeing loose. Its not common but not rare either. Other brands seem to have less problems

I have been using the Havoline oil and fuel filters with complete satisfaction - also their diesel oil. I live near Blenheim and I stocked up recently when Super Cheap Autos opened their new store here and were selling everything at good discounts for their opening weekend.

Cheers chaps
Supercheap are currently doing a two-for-one deal on Valvoline oil filters (20sumthing bucks). I picked up a Fram fuel filter as well. Should see me right.
