3.0 tuning

I have a 3.0 diesel and so has a friend. He had his specially tuned by a mechanic in Glen Eden, Auckland, (o longer there) and his vehicle has no turbo lag and makes mine feel sluggish. Can anybody point me to a mechanic in Auckland who knows how to complete this tuning.
