Is the procedure for timing belt change on the 3.1 4jg2 engine the same as that shown for the 2.8 engine in the Club Isuzu publication? If not what differences are there?

Yep it's virtually the same accept I was only able to use one bolt to lock the pulleys in place as the second hole didn't seem to exist. I have used it on both types of motors without a problem and I was the culprit for posting it many moons ago. J

Replaced the belts on mine today, piece of cake. The locking hole for the cam sprocket is not visible on mine until the belt guide plate is removed. Both threaded locking holes are in the two o'clock position.

Justin thanks for that post all those moons ago. I am sure many have used it since. It helped me just the other day to change the T-belt and it worked a treat.
