Hi, all,
I've had 3 low water/over temp incidents which is making me real nervious of a catastrophic engine meltdown.
I've found the leak now that it is running out that fast it's leaving puddles everywhere. A long story short the radiator has a hole in the core. I'm using a stop leak product... but twice had it only leak again later.
I need another radiator urgently. Anyone got one in water tight condition that they would make aviliable to me? Perferably in Christchurch area or willing to pack up and freight for me. Thanks

With the help of Mike (mudgrip4) I found a radiator in good condition for $120, I went straight around and the guy fitted it for $30... I could have fitted it myself but it saved me the trip home addding water along the way.
While there we compared a bighorn and MU radiator, they are the same radiator wise, but not the brackets soldered to the radiator. The MU bolt hole centres are about 20mm wider each side on the MU.
I also got a replacement spedo cable for $30 from the same guy... not much left of the MU there.... Diffs still there, he has some bighorns too.... Send me a message if anyone wants a contact.

Beware, the bighorn radiator is about 100mm taller than the Wizard/Mu one, as I found to my embarressment. Needless to say I've got a Bighorn radiator for sale if anyone wants one

Strange. I know 2 people that took a radiator out of wrecked 89 bighorns and bolted them straight into 3.1 Mus.

Could the larger radiator be from an automatic with the oil cooler built in?
