Desperately trying to find somebody that has a copy of Round 2 of MotoGP at Jerez in Spain on Sunday 30 March. Channel 10 in their ultimate wisdom broadcast the race at a time different to that which was advertised and the Foxtel version I had taped by a mate turned out to be highlights only. Thanks in advance, caffa

Hey Caffa,
First time I've been back for a month or so and I may be able to help. Do you have a DVD player that will play DVD -R ? I've still got it on my HTPC and can burn you a copy before I erase it. May even take the ads out if you're lucky :-) I could compress it into a DIVX but would probably still be too big to download. It has the full MotoGP race and highlights from the 250 and 125s i think (haven't watched it myself yet). PM your address as I'll have to post it cause I'm not planning a trip to the Gold coast for at least a month :-)

Mate with the great name, sincerely, thank you very much for your efforts. It is very, very much appreciated. I will be more careful in future to make sure I double check the telecast times prior to the event. Again, thank you. Cheers, Craig

Thanks mu4meandyou. Received the disc and the quality is superb. Far better than anything I have been able to get to disc. Cant thank you enough. My collection now remains in tact. Are you interested in a factory engine repair manual for your MU?. Have a hard copy that I can post.

No worries caffa, Glad it turned up OK and the quality is good.
If you're interested in the detail I record straight from TV card in SD, then edit the ads out with Videoredo. I used a trial version of Videoredo TV suite to demux it into DVD format then CloneDVD to burn to disc. Sounds complicated but isn't really. I think from memory that I lost a little quality in the demuxing to fit a DVD-R but was only marginal. I normally just rip shows into DIVX then onto a disc as my player can handle them natively however this was an interesting little experiment :-)
Possibly intersted in a Mu manual - an engine manual would have been handy when I was swapping turbos and removing injectors on my other MU although you work it out if you stare at it long enough :-). I think I downloaded a trooper manual or similar so I'll have a look at how useful that is and maybe pm you.
Anyway, off to watch how Stoner went on the weekend. Have a good one. Cheers.
