How I met a boy racer - By Accident

Hi every one.

I met a Boy Racer by accident last Friday night (20/07/07) in Ipswich Australia. I had a green light and was turning right. He had a Red light and was going straight ahead. It was unfortunate for both of us that my good old Mazda 4X4 was in his way.

The below photos tell the story. I do not know if the photos will work but here goes.

The good thing is that neither of use received any serious injuries. He ended up with a bleeding nose. :) I got a bruise on right arm. :)

The insurance company has written my truck off. I have a perfectly good Honda Horizon in New Zealand but can not import it into Australia. For the time being I have borrowed my daughter’s spare car until I can get a replacement for my Mazda.

Ouch - that hurts.
The injuries intrigue me - by any chance, is your bruise a result of his bloody nose hitting your arm after the accident?? ;D

Certainly would not blame you under the circumstances.

No, I was very controlled. I did not touch him. I think he hit his nose on his steering wheel. He was bleeding all over the place. He looked a bit sorry for himself.

The bruise on my arm was from my driver’s side door hitting it.
