Sh't what a week we are having here in Aus, now Peter Brock has been killed in an accident in a rally in WA. I love my motor sport and now we have lost a legend. Cheers Bruce.

He will be missed in NZ as well. He truely deserved his legend status both because of his skill and his modesty. Theres not many people like Brock left in any sport.

Yes he will missed by all motor sport fans across NZ and AUS He was the one that started my love for Holden's watching him win the Great race so many times and also seeing him live at Pukekohe and Wellington. Peter Perfect what else could be said!!!! P.S. I think he may have driven a Holden Monterey/Isuzu Bighorn on one of those outback rally

Yes I agree. Bathurst will not be the same this year. I wonder if Germaine Greer will hit out at Brockie the way she did Steve Irwin and tell everyone that he is the reason that youngsters drive their cars the way they do. Maybe due to his love of motorsport, there is another young Brock tutored legend driving their way into the australians racing hearts. Lets hope so. Meanwhile, the extended motorsport family will mourn a much loved member. May he rest in peace. debbie

Brock was very vocal about racing being for the race track and safe sensible driving being for the road. I doubt Greer would even try to dent Brocks reputation. If she does noone would buy her books.

Aint that the truth. I think a big percentage of the population would see that as "Crossing the line".
