Hi all. My right hand indicators occasionly don't flash, but the flasher unit clicks really fast, about 6 to 10 clicks per second . Turning the indicators off and straight back on ususlly works. Does anyone know if this is a faulty flasher unit, or the contacts in the flasher stalk on the steering column? Cheers Ian

If the unit flashes at al its not the switch on the dash, If its ok on left its probably not the flasher. My money is on a faulty bulb or bad conection. Next time it happens instead of resetiing it get out and walk round the car to see which bulb is faulty.

Mine does this everynow and then, when it does the vehicle lamps don't flash but the dash indicator does. All bulbs and wiring is good when using the hazzard lights... if so it's as I found the switch. Pulling one way, as kind of like dipping often makes it go. The switch has a brass/copper rocker that seems to get bad contact. Clean the contacts and check the rocker is secure as current flows through it's hinge/fulcrim

It looks like it's fixed. All the bulbs were fine, and the hazards were OK. I pulled the steering wheel off, pulled out the indicator stalk, and after finding the springs, ball bearing and a little plastic gizmo that sprayed around the cabin, cleaned and sprayed the contacts, and re-assembled. Also tightened the three loose bolts holding the steering coulmn in, which also fixed the clunk in the steering. It all works so far. Thanks for the help Cheers Ian
