Hi all, A small problem on my 93 Bighorn Lotus. It has electric mirrors, the RH mirror heat and adjuster work fine, but nothing on the LH mirror goes, Just wondering if anyone knows where the wiring goes for these or where it is likely that a plug has come undone etc. Will pull the door covering off sometime for a look. Power windows and central locking work fine.

Left hand mirror has one 8 pole connector which, in mine is behind the tweeter on the door. It connects all wires except the heater earth to the door mirror switch on the dash. The heater earth goes to frame ground on the body.
1 = unknown
2 = grey/blue = folding sw
3 = pink/white = heater
4 = white/black = up/down
5 = black/green = left/right
6 = black/white = u/d/l/r common
7 = grey/green = fold motor
8 = black = heater earth
All but 4,5,8 are common to both sides.
Check the connector inside the tweeter cover first or else it may be behind the door panel.
Left/right/up/down is one circuit. Fold is another & heat is the third. If nothing works, suspect the connector. If one of those 3 works then the guts of the mirror itself is probably stuffed. If you ever get inside one of those mirrors without breaking something then please let me know how.
