ive only had my MU a few days (picked her up last friday) and i took it out 4wding on the weekend... and i noticed a couple of times when i was driving through decent sized ruts in the ground all of the warning lights would come on or flicker in the dash they werent on long though. maybe 5 mins at the max? also, now when i put it in reverse it the sump oil light ( could be wrong?) and the fuel light and the oil change lights come on... but go away once i put it in drive! and monday night when i was out driving around the fuel light come on.. 100kms after i'd filled the tank!!! (hasnt done it since tho, stayed on for about 10mins) the car still drives like a dream, idle was a bit funny but i've adjusted that and now it runs even better. anyone else had any probs like this??? would it just be an electrical fault?

Do the gauges behave? It sounds like either a earthing fault to the dash or the dreaded alternator. You wernt driving through thigh deep mud were you?

Have you considered that this might have been the reason it was for sale?

yeh the gauges working fine. and it h as a new alternator on it. it hasnt done anything since monday.. so im thinking its probably just an electrical fault.

Did you get water into anything electrical and maybe now it's dried out?
