hi there guys, wasjust wondering if anybody has had a factory 50 or 55amp alternator out of a 4bj1t motor lately and could tell me what sort of plugs, etc are on it. The new one ive got has one bolt type connector on it and a hole for a plug that has 3 spade terminals in it, supposedly off a holden a95?? motor Any help or comments would be great, Thanks.

Hi there, thanks for that pig, So here it is, this is the numbers that are on the alternator, Hitachi 12 volt, 80amp, LR 180-501C, 897134 8660. Basically it fits but you have to grind a bit off the bottom side of the tensioner arm and twist the oil pipe that comes off the end of the pressure pump towards the motor a bit to clear the engine mount, and put bigger terminals on the power wires, but the plug is the same. So far its giving way more power and hasn't blown anything up yet but time will tell.
