I've been informed that some Bighorns came out with dual battery set up. Has anyone got one of these as I'm after some pics to see how its set up. I want to put a second battery in my Wizard but there is not much room under the bonnet.
Also what is your opinion on actual set up. One battery for winch and one battery for engine with split charging system or batteries connected in parallel running winch and engine. This was my initial thoughts but last weekend managed to get the engine to shut down due to low voltage while winching, it has electronic injection.

Andrews Mu has this setup but dont have details. Its much easier to just do a parelell battery but this only delays your problem not solves it. There are several 2 battery kits around that charge both batteries but disconect one while whinching meaning you can always start. Some have quite clever diode setups some are little more that a large switch. Anouther way would be a 250 amp alternator I can put you onto but they arent cheap and you still need a separate vacume supply
